Volunteers are the soul of every trail running event and help to shape the experience for runners coming from far and wide. As part of the Race Crew family, you’ll experience the unique camaraderie and energy that only an ultra marathon can bring. You’ll witness moments of triumph and perseverance up close, and you’ll have the chance to support athletes as they achieve personal milestones. It’s not just about the race; it’s about being part of a community that celebrates endurance, determination, and the human spirit.
We’ve got loads of different options for volunteers. No experience in running or volunteering is needed. We will make sure you get looked after and have all the info to help the Event run like clockwork.

| Runner Registration | Friday afternoon and Saturday Morning of the Event - at the Race Hub. Scanning runners into the system to get them registered |
| Bag Drop and Race Hub Services | Providing assistance with Bag Drop organization and general support of the Race Hub |
| Marshalls | Providing directions to Runners on course and at selected road crossings |
| Check Points | Working the check points where runners get their hydration and food - right in the heat of the action |
| Course Sweepers | One for the runners out there - Running parts of the course with the last Athletes to help them along and keep them safe |
| Course Set Up / Clean | In the week leading up to the event and the days after - setting up all the course markings to ensure runners don't get lost!! |
